More animations: ZAHO.HU - I created these mammoth animations upon the request of Áron Gauder, the director of 'The Stone Ax Man.' The entire film can be found on youtube.com.
In 2014, under the direction of Áron Gauder, the first part of the film series titled 'Stone Ax Man' was completed, followed by the second part in 2017. In this installment, Schneider Zoltán once again delves into the secrets of the past. The next episode of the Stone Ax Man series guides viewers into the camp of the true mammoth hunters. 100,000 years ago, a Neanderthal tribe camped on the site of the present-day building of the Reformed Gymnasium in Tata. Defying the icy cold of the Ice Age, they lived in a limestone basin by the shores of warm lakes. Their main prey was the massive, woolly mammoth. Young specimens were mainly the victims of their weapons, but there was plenty of other game: woolly rhinoceros, wild boar, giant deer. Schneider Zoltán, the paleo-detective, investigates the possible methods of mammoth hunting with the help of the remaining artifacts. During his research, he discovers many interesting details about our distant ancestors, including the fact that, contrary to common belief, the Neanderthal also created cultic objects. For example, here in Tata, a painted and carefully polished mammoth tooth amulet that is unique in the world was found. Naturally, the film brings the past back to life, and through animation, the everyday lives of prehistoric hunters become visible. In the third part of our educational series, all of this is presented spectacularly and cinematically with the help of animation.
